Good morning! Hope you're having a lovely Saturday. Today, Mum's the word with Mama Elephant's
Lovely Mums set. I created a card with some ombre stamping on the solid bloom. I find
ColorBox Cat's Eye Queue Inks have been easiest to handle and achieve the soft ombre results. I then added a label-like strip, cradled the flower with a gold doily from
Knot & Bow, and finished it off by stamping "Mum" in a similar pink, and sprinkled some sequins. Mother's Day is right around the corner and I'm looking forward to handing this card to my mum.
Materials used: Mama Elephant Lovely Mums stamp set, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, ColorBox Cat's Eye Queue Inks;
Knot & Bow doily, sequins
What beautiful flowers for beautiful ladies in your life!

And finally, that beautiful coloured mum, and that gold doily - wow!! I now am hankering to use a gold doily on a card!! Great work Pearl!!

ReplyDeletePink flower, gold doily, and silver in a tiny sequin are new color combination for me but it is perfectly done in your card.
